I have an Honours Degree in Inclusive Education obtained from the University of South Africa (2018). I am a qualified teacher with a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, and Development Studies (English Language & Literature in English) obtained from the National University of Lesotho in 2013. I have seven years of teaching experience; five of which I was a Facilitator in Higher Certificate (HC Level 5) in Early Childhood Development & National Diploma in Educare (N4-N6) at Damelin College. My responsibilities included facilitating, Assessing and Moderating Learners Portfolios of Evidence (PoE’s). I function as a mentor, Special Needs and a remedial teacher for learners with special needs integrated into the mainstream education. Mainly use learning through play...I am observant, and responsive, always keeping an open mind about how to best engage my students and get them excited about learning. I try to explain different concepts by using role-play, discussing topics that are of interest to learners, current affairs and hot topics to get learners interested I their learning while applying to tutor a student which will make each session interesting and innovative.
