Most of my works have a performative approach, where I either perform by myself or initiate a situation inviting the audience or passers-by to take part in a performative experience. My intent is not to put on a show but to catch people off guard and force them to be aware of their perception and become performers themselves.

My name is Ariele Ugne, a design student, endulging my time in drawing, painting, visual arts and design. After my graduation from art school, I started questioning traditional methods of teaching, as well as the usual, traditional ways of drawing, painting, trying to understand my own stance on what, why and how I want to communicate my mind through art. One of the most important things that I learned through the process of drawing, painting, sketching, is how to relax your body and mind to transfer your soul onto paper, canvas, how to let your curiosity, imagination intertwine with any kind of media. Therefore, i want to teach people how to translate rawness and generally how to translate what you want to communicate.

I am a Vidwat in Bharatanatyam with over 20 years of experience, which includes more than 700 stage performances all over India. Additionally, I have over 5 years of teaching experience in India and Singapore, working with over 100 students across various age categories. I am skilled in choreography and nattuvangam, and I believe in thorough and traditional training methods.

I am an ESL and Art teacher based in Hong Kong. I have been teaching freelance online and face-to-face for about 4 years now while also pursuing my own visual art career. In my classes, my students explore a variety of art mediums, such as painting, drawing, sculpting, and much more, while also learning different creative skills that can prove useful. I like to have my classes adapt to the student, allowing them to choose what they would like to create while also following a structured lesson plan. I enjoy making it personal by using day-to-day experiences, such as painting their pet or favourite cartoon character, so that students learn to love my classes and explore their artistic side.

I hold TEFL and TKT certifications, as well as a diploma in Montessori education. I am passionate about creativity and enjoy drawing, arts and crafts, and playing the violin at Suzuki Book 3 level. I am currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Dance BA (Hons) in the United Kingdom. I have been drawing and painting since I was young and have developed a strong passion over time. I previously studied A-Level Art and Design in secondary school, where we had the ability to paint, draw, and use a variety of other fun mediums to express our creativity. I am most confident in  painting and drawing still life with watercolours, oil paints, tonal drawings, and acrylic. With previous experience teaching young children, I will always ensure that the lesson is engaging, fun, as well as most importantly educational for the students.
